The Adult Daycare Center Director is responsible for the overall leadership, management, and operation of the adult daycare facility. This role ensures the delivery of high-quality care and services to participants while maintaining compliance with all state and federal regulations.
The Director oversees staff, coordinates programs and services, manages budgets, and works closely with participants and their families to create a safe, supportive, and enriching environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic leadership and daily oversight of all center operations.
- Ensure compliance with state licensing requirements, healthcare regulations, and organizational policies.
- Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate staff, including nurses, social workers, activity coordinators, and aides.
- Develop and implement participant care plans in collaboration with the
interdisciplinary team. - Oversee participant admissions, assessments, and discharge planning.
- Maintain accurate records for participants and staff, ensuring confidentiality and regulatory compliance.
- Manage center budget, including payroll, supplies, and vendor contracts.
- Facilitate communication with families, caregivers, healthcare providers, and community partners.
- Plan and evaluate programs that promote participant engagement, safety, and wellness.
- Respond to emergencies and resolve participant or family concerns promptly and professionally.
- Conduct regular quality assurance reviews and implement performance
improvement plans as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in
Healthcare Administration, Social Work, Nursing, Gerontology, or a related field (Master’s preferred). - Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in a supervisory or administrative role in healthcare or social services.
- Prior experience in adult daycare, senior services, or long-term care strongly preferred.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of aging-related issues, cognitive impairment, and chronic illness care.
- Familiarity with Medicaid waiver programs, licensing inspections, and
reimbursement processes. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic health record (EHR) systems.
Licensure/Certifications:
- Current nursing license (RN/LPN) or Administrator certification.
- CPR and First Aid certification (required or willingness to obtain).
Working Conditions:
- On-site position in an adult daycare facility.
- May require occasional evening or weekend hours for events, staff training, or emergencies.
- Must be able to assist with participant care or emergencies if needed.

Key Responsibilities:
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with facility policy and physician orders.
- Monitor and document vital signs, health status, and changes in participants’ conditions.
- Perform basic nursing procedures (e.g., wound care, catheter care, glucose monitoring).
- Assist in developing and implementing individualized care plans.

The Social Worker at our Adult Daycare Center plays a vital role in supporting the emotional, social, and practical needs of our adult participants, many of whom are elderly or have physical or cognitive disabilities. This position involves working closely with participants, their families, and the multidisciplinary team to ensure a high quality of life and access to needed resources and services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial psychosocial assessments of new participants and periodic re-evaluations.
- Develop individualized care plans in coordination with the interdisciplinary team.
- Provide counseling and emotional support to participants and their families.
- Serve as an advocate for participants’ needs within the center and with external service providers.
- Assist with crisis intervention and conflict resolution.
- Maintain accurate and confidential participant records, including documentation of services provided.
- Coordinate with family members, healthcare providers, and community agencies to ensure comprehensive care.
- Facilitate support groups, educational workshops, or family meetings as needed.
- Participate in care planning meetings, staff meetings, and training sessions.

Qualifications:
